The lighthouse of Aforesmenos
The Lighthouse of Cape or Aforesmenos is located 27 km north of Agios Nikolaos, in the region of Vrouhas village and close to the wind park in Baboura. It’s a specifically beautiful place, which we can easily visit if the weather allows it.


CHOMATISTRA BEACH
Chomatistra beach is the northest beach of Mirabello Gulf and she takes her name from the earthy cliffs behind her. In this wild scenery, there is the Chomatistra inlet with leeward waters, which local fishermen use when Cretan sea gets really wild.
ELOUNDA CANAL
The man who inspired and executed the project was the French chief of Spinalonga Emile- Amedee, Dupourque.
The construction began in the 27th of February in 1897 and it was finished in next year’s spring.


SPINALONGA ISLAND
Spinalonga or Kalidona is a small island of 0,100 square kilometres, which closes from the northern side the Gulf of Elounda in the minicipality of Agios Nikolaos, Lasithi prefecture, of the island of Crete.
KOLOKITHA BEACH
Kolokitha beach is an island full of seaguls, which is opposite to Peninsula of Spinalonga, 12km north of Agios Nikolaos, very close to Elounda.


SAINT PHOCAS
In the northern side of Kolokitha gulf, close to Elounda, there is the church of Saint Phocas, which is built on the ruins of the byzantine church that according to the tradition, Nikiforos Phocas built it himself when he came to Crete, aiming to liberate the island from the Arabs.
SKISTRA GULF
It’s about a pristine beach of incomparable beauty, which remains unharmed by the human intrusion.
DIANISKARI BEACH
A small beach with green-blue waters. You fall in love with her with the first sight. It’s heartily worth visiting this oasis and swim in her waters.
Seal Gulf
In this small gulf, there is a beach with exotic and crystalline waters and a cave that invites you to explore it.
